C.I.T Travel

"The Champollion II and C.I.T Travel are a rare find in Egypt.
They understand the concept of 'slow travel' and giving back to the local community, while at the same time providing guests on board their Nile cruise vessel with the comforts and decor you might find in a quality European city hotel."

Slow travel

Using local insight, C.I.T create innovative itineraries for small groups and individuals that get visitors off the beaten path. Sustainable travel and giving back to local communities is key, via off road safaris, hiking adventures and authentic local experiences such as carefully crafted, non-intrusive village visits and homestays

Since 2013

C.I.T was established nearly ten years ago. They use their in-depth knowledge of the destination to create bespoke and unique tours, focusing on sustainability and community support.

Boutique cruising

Providing a unique Nile experience like no other, Champollion II is a beautifully designed vessel owned by C.I.T. It is one of only three boats that are licenced to sail the rarely used, serene section of the river between Cairo and Luxor, before also heading down to Aswan. Champollion was fully renovated in 2020 and features 45 cabins, elegant interiors and a stylish sundeck.
