Maya Trails

"The Maya Trails' family started in tourism in Guatemala in the 1930s! As a 100% Guatemalan B2B company, this DMC embodies authenticity and expertise. They can provide access to leading guides and blend Mayan culture and history with adventurous experiences.

You can expect genuine interactions with indigenous Maya communities, supported by sustainable practices both in the office and on the ground. They also operate their own vehicle fleet and are hard to beat in terms of value for money.

WHEN

Since 2008

Maya Trails was established in 2008 by Jimmy Rogers. Jimmy was born and raised in Guatemala. His great grandfather established the first travel company there in the 1930s! He founded Maya Trails as a more personal and flexible alternative to the larger, mass-market operators in Guatemala. Over the years the professional Maya Trails team has developed widespread expertise in the destinations they operate and clearly understand the expectations of international markets.
