Positive impact statement

At Sigiriya Jungles, we are committed to the best sustainability practices, integrating home-grown produce, waste reduction and water conservation across our 10-acre property.

All rainwater collected from the hotel’s drains is channeled into a nearby stream, helping to sustain surrounding paddy fields and support the livelihoods of local communities. Overflow from the hotel’s tanks is filtered through a reverse osmosis system to produce purified water, which is then used to nourish the gardens and landscapes across the property.

All rooms, public areas and architectural features are designed to maximise natural light and ventilation, minimising energy consumption, while LED lighting further reduces our environmental footprint.
