Arctic Yeti is based just outside of Reykjavík, in Hafnarfjördur. They operate immersive tours throughout Iceland and Greenland as well as other neighbouring Nordic destinations.

With their own fleet and expert local guides, Arctic Yeti can offer a wide range of options for families, FITs and groups. Activities include hiking, biking and kayaking, as well as cultural, immersive and special interest trips e.g. photography or northern lights. They also organise self-guided and self-drive itineraries, encompassing Iceland’s highlights, as well as helping visitors discover lesser known spots.

As an experienced, independent company, Arctic Yeti offers a flexible and personalised approach and are more agile and creative than other, larger tour operators in the region. They are passionate about getting visitors off the beaten track and delivering unique and authentic adventures that foster meaningful connections with local communities. Sustainability is at the core of what they do - they are a Travelife Partner and prioritise family-run and boutique accommodation.
Arctic Yeti was founded in 2011, though its roots in Iceland’s travel industry trace back to 2004. For nearly two decades, their professional team has guided visitors through the country’s most remote landscapes. They combine extensive local expertise with a genuine passion for showcasing all of Iceland’s amazing natural wonders.
Javi and Carolin met in 2004 and founded Arctic Yeti in 2011, after years of exploring both Greenland and Iceland together. Their hands-on experience in remote Nordic wildernesses shaped the company's DNA, to create exciting, sustainable and immersive adventures for all.
