Tatra Escapes was born from a desire to connect travellers with the raw beauty and hidden magic of Slovakia. After hearing time and time again that “I’ve never really thought about Slovakia” Founder Alena set out to change that through personal and locally grounded holidays that showcase the country’s landscapes, people and slower way of life. The Tatra team are passionate about sharing the best-kept secrets of their homeland.
Born in Slovakia and now based in the UK, Alena brings a special ability to bridge cultures, traveller expectations and local logistics. She has built an expert local team and handpicked suppliers that deliver seamless operations, memorable experiences and high levels of customer service.
