Venture Uganda
"Venture Uganda are well known in the industry for being a professional, caring and trusted organisation. They use their wealth of experience to go 'beyond the gorillas' and craft really interesting nature and adventure tours and unique, authentic, cultural exchanges.
What I also love is how they quietly do the right thing. They support communities, buy land to re-forest, and carefully choose their local partners because it matters, not because they need to shout about it."

Unique activities
Alongside the obvious highlights, Venture Uganda specialises in creating immersive experiences for FITs and groups that go off the beaten track. Expert guides showcase incredible wildlife and bird viewing, host authentic community visits and offer a wide range of activities (hiking, biking, kayaking, cycling and more). Their strong understanding of the education sector also enables them to design highly successful school and university programs that deliver exceptional learning opportunities.
Ethical travel
Venture Uganda has always believed that responsible tourism plays an important role in supporting local development. With positive impact travel at the centre of their ethos, they choose their providers carefully and give back in a multitude of ways. From buying land to re-wild indigenous forests to supporting a range of community projects, visitors can get involved in conservation efforts and have meaningful connections with local people.
Since 2010
Established for over 16 years, and born from a friendship between its directors, Venture Uganda is a highly respected and trusted local DMC. They have an abundance of expertise and in-depth local knowledge and have built strong supplier and community partnerships.
