Ethical travel
The name ‘Zendmen’ refers to a legendary jewel in Mongolia’s fairytale that fulfils one’s good wishes, which is a vision the company is founded on. They are passionate about supporting local communities, women's collectives and other worthwhile projects. They also genuinely care about protecting the natural environment and wildlife, with sustainability practices that include carbon offsetting, responsible animal interaction policies and strict safety protocols in place.

Zendmen Travel was born from a love for Mongolia’s culture, history and nomadic way of life. Their experienced local team brings over 15 years of expertise of working with UK and European clients and they have a deep understanding of the levels of service and care expected by the market.
Amka Dorjsuren
Amartuvshin Dorjsuren (Amka), co-founder of Zendmen Travel, was raised riding horses in Mongolia's Gobi-Altai province. From there he went on to achieve a sustainable tourism degree and then PhD from the University of Sheffield. He is so passionate about sustainable tourism in Mongolia - he is now also a university lecturer on the subject and all Zendmen tours have this at their core.
