In the evening, meet the rest of the team for a welcome dinner at the hotel. Overnight: The Boma Hotel, EntebbeIncluded meals: Dinner
Early breakfast. At 06:30 transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary (approx. 3-4 hours), enjoying Uganda’s beautiful scenery and making little stops at places of interest along the way.At Ziwa, after a briefing, take a guided nature walk with chances to see the southern white rhino at close range, along with other wildlife like bushbuck, monkeys, warthog and various bird species. After lunch, continue (approx. 3 hours) into Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest conservation area. Visit the top of the falls for breathtaking views over the River Nile as it crashes through a narrow gorge. Continue to your lodge, situated inside the park, enjoying wildlife encounters along the way. Before dinner, meet a Conservation Warden for an insightful briefing on the park’s conservation work.Responsible travel: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary was established to reintroduce rhinos into Uganda after they became extinct in the wild, and its breeding programme has led to the recent translocation of rhino back into the national parks. The Uganda Wildlife Authority also uses 20% of park entrance fees to support projects in park-boundary communities.Overnight: Pakuba Safari Lodge, Murchison Falls National ParkIncluded meals: Breakfast, lunch (Ziwa) and dinner
06:00 early morning game drive around the delta, on the north bank of the River Nile. Search for lion, leopard, giraffe, various antelope, tropical birds and much, much more. Late breakfast at the lodge. After lunch, enjoy a relaxing, private boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Look out for hippo, buffalo, elephant, crocodiles and various water birds along the riverbanks. As you return, enjoy drinks on board as the sun begins to set.Responsible travel: The lodges used on this safari have different sustainability features, from solar power and locally sourced food to employing local staff and offering community visits. Each lodge will outline these as part of their briefing to you.Overnight: Twiga Safari Lodge, Murchison Falls National ParkIncluded meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Then enjoy a walk in the surrounding hills for fantastic views over the crater lakes and to the mountains beyond (your guide will adapt the route to the ability and energy of the group).
