Japan
With their headquarters in Tokyo, Japan Travel KK operate tours right across the country, including Okinawa and Hokkaido.
Hidden gems
A highly flexible, forward-thinking DMC catering to FIT, groups and MICE, Japan Travel KK deliver unique itineraries, encompassing both well-known highlights and off the beaten track treasures. Their wide range of tours incorporate culture, adventure, nature and unique immersive experiences.
Innovation experts
Japan KK like to design itineraries that enrich the visitor experience. They enjoy collaborating with tour operators to cater to differing client needs (not a common DMC trait here) and with good tech systems in place, prioritise fast response times and exceptional customer service. As Travelife Partners (and one of the first DMCs in Japan working towards full certification), they are big advocates of sustainable travel in the region.
Since 2011
Japan Travel KK was founded in 2011 in response to the Tohoku earthquake, with a mission to support local communities and help rebuild tourism in the region. Initially established as a media-focused company, they expanded their services with the launch of a travel agency in 2016.
Colas Hauspie
Colas has spent a third of his life in Japan working in inbound tourism. After starting at a major Japanese agency, he now leads the travel agency division at Japan Travel KK. He’s passionate about sharing genuine, authentic Japanese experiences and avoiding over-tourism in some areas, by promoting positive impact, community-based travel more widely.
